About
As long as can I remember, I have loved taking pictures. That first photography class in middle school did it to me, when I got my first chance at developing black and white film, then printing black and white photos. I spent endless hours in the dark room during school, continuing through college, trying out different techniques. Now I work the same darkroom skills with Photoshop, always learning something new.
I truly love taking photographs of children doing what they like best, PLAY! I will come to your home or local park, and capture the excitement when your child builds the largest lego tower ever, or finds their favorite stuffed bear at nap time. I’ve recently been enjoying taking action shots during football and basketball games, while still focusing on kids emotions as they complete a pass, congratulate their teammates, or score the points at the buzzer.
I also freelance for The Montgomery Sentinel and MoCoVox.com. I never thought I could actually enjoy working so much. I spend a lot of time taking photos of youth and high school sporting events. This has allowed me to combine two of my favorite things: basketball and photography. To see the photos published in the paper, click here!
