Magruder v Gaithersburg basketball photo are now online! This week’s Sentinel:
Finally got the chance to take a few senior portraits of my beautiful niece, Kelley. Here’s a fun one, without any editing. Probably won’t need to do much… maybe just eliminate the dog hair from her shirt, but other than that, her skin is flawless. and she looks so relaxed! Oh, and then there’s little [...]
Wow! The black belt test at Kicks Karate was amazing! I’ve never seen karate in person before, and it’s really incredible watching the routines (I know that’s not what it’s called) and movements. Congratulations go out to all who achieved the black belt, especially my friends Justin, Kira and Jared!
Did you recently see me at a game or event? Did you think I got your photo or your child’s photo? Why can’t you see it on my porfolio pages? That’s easy! I won’t put photos of anyone on my website unless I have a signed release form. If you sign this release form and [...]

After many months working with WordPress to design a new website, I finally went to the expert, Aaron Overton, with Heatherstone. His company provides online marketing and web development, and he’s a genius! Within just a few minutes he was able to show me where I had messed up, and this new site was up [...]

Above is a sample of the [...]
Each year I pick my favorite photos that were published in The Montgomery County Sentinel to enter in the MDDC awards. There are five categores: Feature, General News, Photo Series, Sports & Spot News. This image of a boy enjoying the fountains at Rockville Town Center won 2nd place in the Feature category in 2010.
Custom posters can be created from your favorite action image. In this shot, Amanda got a lot of height as she passed to the post player. Converting everything in the image to black and white, really makes Amanda pop out of this one.
